Once again, it's your birthday.  Your 21st!  Happy Birthday Ichi.  I will always remember.

Whenever I see some people your age, I often wonder how you would have turned out, where you would have gone to school, who you would consider a friend, and who you would have trusted with your heart.  A times, I see someone who could possibly look like you.  I do a double-take then I remember.

It's been surreal since you died.  I still tear up thinking if you especially in March, your b'day, and Christmas.  Everything is not as bright or joyful.

I have kept your cell phone live just so I can hear your voice.  Also so I do not forget. 

Jasmine is now 16yo.  She is taller than you and I'm sure she would love to 'rub it in'.  Well, I'm on a plane again and they are telling me to turn off the phone.  If you get a chance, send me a sign you're doing OK.

It's unfathomable that it has been almost 3 years since Alicia's death. Three years... wow. It is hard to believe.
